Hull of a Race Founders:
In 2006 Physical Therapist, Lori Riti, encouraged her patients, Marilyn White and Mable Reed, who had Parkinson's Disease to use their energy to raise
money for Parkinson's research by having a race-Hull of a Race for
Parkinson1s. As a runner, Lori was able to guide Marilyn and Mable and their husbands Sam and Jim through the first few years of running a SK/l0K race. Soon Marilyn took charge of the organization of the race with help from
Mable, Jim, and Sam. It is with gratitude to these founders of Hull of a Race that we recognize their efforts which have led to 16 successful races and more than $100,000 given to the American Association for Parkinson's Disease.
